Michael is a Partner in the Transaction Advisory Services (“TAS”) practice at RSM US LLP and is the TAS Leader of the New York Market. Michael focuses on financial due diligence on both buy-side and sell-side transactions for private equity and corporate acquirers, with a keen focus on continuing to bring value to the investment, post-closing of a transaction. Michael has worked on more than 250 M&A transactions in his career, ranging from $5 to $800 million. Michael’s primary industry focus areas include retail & consumer products and industrial products. Prior to his M&A experience, Michael was a controller of a middle market business and an auditor at a Big Four firm. Michael has been quoted, interviewed, or participated in expert panel discussions in a variety of mediums and varying topics, including but not limited to: RSM and Pitchbook Quarterly Industry Spotlights, TheDeal.com Middle Market M&A Outlook, Quarterly Privcap Middle Market Dealmaker Roundups (2016-2019), M&A Magazine “What to Expect in 2017,” among others.
